Suzuki Parent Education Seminar
September 29, 2007

Seminar description: Jeanne Luedke, a nationally respected Parent Education Specialist & Suzuki music teacher for 30 years, presented vital information for parents of students who play any instrument at any level. Jean helped parents to find out why their child doesn't want to practice, why practice sessions are too often unproductive and how a parent can make sure their child reaches his or her potential in music studies.

This seminar taught Suzuki teachers how to be a more knowledgeable and confident Suzuki teacher. Jeanne Luedke, presented how to organize a parent education program and develop a satisfying and rewarding professional Suzuki program.

Topics covered included:

• How to develop a parent education program so that all parents are able and willing to be effective teachers to their children
• How to develop a professional mind set in all areas of your program
• How to have greater success and pleasure in teaching by establishing a non-negotiable set of expectations
